T.I. and Jeezy have been talking about releasing a joint album for quite some time now but it looks like the project may actually come to fruition. The two announced they would release a collaborative album titled Dope Boy Academy following the release of their new albums Paperwork and Seen It All.

MTVNews caught up with the two Atlanta rappers backstage at Power 105.1's Powerhouse concert, where Tip made the big reveal.

"We are finally putting the execution part in the works," he said. "This is one of the first times that we are both putting our albums out around the same time. Now we can collectively come together and do something together."

He also added that they have already started recording new music saying, "We already have probably 'bout six or seven records already."

Jeezy chimed in, advising fans to be on the lookout for new music from the duo. "Keep your eyes and your ears open," he said. "That's my brother from another right there. We stay in our bag. So I would just stay focused if I was you."

According to Billboard, Paperwork sold 80,000 copies taking the No. 2 slot on the Billboard 200 chart. It became Tip's ninth Top 10 album.

Jeezy's Seen It All album also debuted at No. 2 back in September. The album reportedly sold 121,000 copies.
