Sam Smith, Taylor Swift Lead People's Choice Awards 2015 Music Nominees

The award season is right around the corner, so Sam Smith had better break out his fanciest tuxedo. The nominees for the People's Choice Awards 2015 have been announced, and the "Stay With Me" singer leads the music-related categories, chalking up four nods.

Smith leads in all four of the major music categories he was eligible for.

On the strength of his debut album In the Lonely Hour, the British singer-songwriter is nominated for Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Breakout Artist, Favorite Album (In The Lonely Hour) and Favorite Song ("Stay With Me").

Smith isn't the only music megastar with multiple People's Choice Awards nominations. Though her record 1989 was ineligible for awards, Taylor Swift is still riding high with three nods for Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Pop Artists and Favorite Song ("Shake it Off").

Pharrell Williams, Sia, Meghan Trainor and Jessie J are also nominated for multiple PCAs.
