Like father, like son. Christopher Wallace, known to most as Notorious B.I.G, is considered by many to be among the greatest rappers of all time, if not the greatest. He was taken from us too soon, but his legacy was passed on through his son, CJ Wallace

Now his son has decided to take up his father's trade and start rapping, according to MTV. It is a daunting task because any time your father is considered one of the best, inevitably you will be compared to your old man, whether it is fair or not. In the sports world, Michael Jordan's son played basketball at the University of Central Florida but eventually left the team. The son of Joe Montana, the former 4-time Super Bowl winning quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, plays quarterback at Tulane. He got headlines for all the wrong reasons when he turned the ball over by the spiking it on 4th down.

All of this is to say, when your father is one of the greats, expect an undue amount of attention and pressure. The spotlight will be with you wherever you go and there will be the lingering expectation that you should be as great as your predecessor.

That is not implying that CJ Wallace does not have a chance. He could go on and have a very good rap career. As you can hear from the bars he spits over Jay Electronica's "Exhibit C" and Jay Z's "D.O.A. (Death Of Auto-Tune) on Hot 97's Ebro In The Morning radio show, the potential is there. Wallace also discusses his group, Origami Prophets, his latest film project, Kicks, and his main rap influences. Ebro keeps it real by telling him what he needs to do get better and CJ takes it in stride. What do you think of CJ Wallace as a rapper? Let us know in the comments.
