Wisin, half of the Latin-urban power-duo Wisin y Yandel, has singed a record deal with Sony Music and is set to release his second solo album, "Sobreviviente 2," in December. The first single off the forthcoming album is called "Que Viva la Vida" and will drop this Monday (Sept. 23).

According to Billboard, Wisin's partner, Yandel, also recently announced the November release of his own solo album. His single, "Hable de Ti," sits at No. 9 this week in the Latin Airplay charts.

Wisin said in a statement: "I promise that this new material is bigger than ever, with stellar collaborations and as always great music," according to Billboard.

Some of the collaborators on "Sobreviviente 2" include Pitbull, Chris Brown, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, among others.

Fans of Wisin y Yandel need not worry, however. The duo will not be splitting up, despite working on their respective solo efforts. You can also see the duo on "La Voz Mexico" (Mexico's version of "The Voice"), where they are currently judges.
