Following a dram-filled year, Mumford and Sons have decided to take a break for a while after their show last night in Bonner Springs, Kansas, which ended their tour. The show was actually rescheduled from early June due to bassist Ted Dwayne's surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain. The band also had to cancel its headlining set at Bonnaroo this year for the same reason, and Jack Johnson performed in their place.

Keyboardist Ben Lovett told Rolling Stone this week, "There won't be any Mumford and Sons activities for the foreseeable future."

He also said he wasn't sure how long it would be until they would start up again. "We just know we're going to take a considerable amount of time off and just go back to hanging out and having no commitments or pressure or anything like that. It feels like the last week of school right now, before school holiday when you're in high school. ...I think everyone's excited about being free of schedules."

The band hasn't really taken time off since their double-platinum success of 2009's "Sigh No More." This year Mumford and Sons won a Grammy for Album of the year for their album, "Babel."

"I don't think we've had actually much time in the process to be with other people and living outside of the band," Lovett told them. "I think that's what's in place at the moment, to do very little - especially when it comes to Mumford and Sons."

So for now, fans are just going to have to rewatch "The Big Easy Express" or listen to their albums on repeat.
