In the eight months since Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared from the sky during an overnight flight, there have been more questions than answers. Almost immediately, Malaysia Airlines Management reported that the plane had been hijacked but then quickly changed their minds, insisting they were not sure what had become of the missing flight. There has been false information put out by MAS, and mixed signals and fallacies have completely taken over this case, leaving family members confused and devastated.

Then there is the fact that while extensive searches have been launched, especially by the Australian ATSB, the search area has changed on a few different occasions. According to insiders, MAS is preparing to declare the plane officially lost by the end of the year, but some believe the country simply does not want any trace of it found, according to the Examiner.

In fact, a theory has circulated from the start that MH370 was in fact hijacked by extremely well-trained terrorists and that it was ultimately shot down, perhaps by Malaysian officials. That is a little detail they may be trying to protect people from because it would mean that the blood of all who have been lost is technically on their hands.

If MAS declares MH370 officially lost, then the Australian ATSB would stop searching and the government would be left to try and ease its guilt by financially providing for the families of those left behind in the tragedy. Ironically, most of the families that are still searching for answers could care less about money. They are left with unresolved issues until they learn the truth, but that truth may never come.

What do you think happened to flight MH370? Did it fly until it ran out of fuel and then glide into the ocean? Was the pilot or co-pilot somehow responsible or was this plane actually hijacked and then shot down by Malaysian officials?
