Dave Grohl does not approve of what Motion City Soundtrack is about to do for their 10th anniversary tour.

The Foo Fighters frontman made his feelings clear a couple weeks ago when he called out bands for touring behind one "classic" album.

"F--k, man! I don't like it when a band's tour is just to play one past record," Grohl said. "I f--king hate that. I don't like it when bands do that. It's presumptuous. It's lazy."

Keep in mind: Foo are in the midst of their self-promoted 20th anniversary year.

"I mean, I don't mind playing a lot of those old songs just to revisit," Grohl said. "But the best way to celebrate our 20th anniversary isn't to focus on 20 years ago, but to focus on the last 20 years, meaning two years ago and six years ago and eight years ago."

It's only been 10 years since MCC released Commit This To Memory, a pop-punk gem that featured the single "Everything Is Alright."

Now, the Minneapolis group is prepping a lengthy tour that will feature their 2005 album in full, along with several enticing opening acts.
