It's sort of hard to believe, but summer music festival season is right around the corner again. And New York's Governors Ball is looking to kick it all off with a new announcement. Today (Nov. 11), Govs Ball announced its official dates for the 2015 festival.

Governors Ball 2015 will take place from June 5-7, 2015. According to a press release, the festival will also (expectedly) be returning to New York City's Randall's Island, where Governors Ball has taken place since 2012.

The 2015 edition will mark the fifth edition of Governors Ball, so expect some big name acts. Though the initial lineup will not be revealed until mid-January, past headliners have included The Strokes, Outkast, Kanye West, Beck, Modest Mouse and Jack White.

A limited number of advance pre-sale tickets will be made available beginning Thursday, Nov. 13, at Governors Ball's official website. Tickets will begin at $245 for the three-day festival. Regular tickets will cost $260, with VIP and Super VIP tickets available for between $565 and $2000.
