Erykah Badu has teamed up with some adorable collaborators — her daughters. In a video posted to YouTube, Badu and her daughters Puma and Mars perform an a cappella version of Colbie Caillat's "Try." Badu posted the YouTube video to her Facebook page with the caption "Do you like you?" referencing the song's message of non-conformity and self-love. It has now been shared more than 91,850 times with more than 180,000 likes (at time of publishing).

Badu was apparently caught off guard by how popular the video became.

"I am kind of surprised," Badu told Dallas News. "It also confirmed to me that's my lane. That kind of message rides on a larger platform than me. I was very pleased to see so many people responding to it as opposed to some of the other stuff we gravitate towards these days. It was confirmed that I match well with positive things. No matter what I am supposed to say, when it's something positive and youthful the chemical connection is right."

Caillat herself even responded to the video on Twitter. "Love you E, " she wrote.

Badu spoke highly of the song, which was co-written by Babyface.

"[It] is the kind of thing I want my girls to know and trust. And it going viral helped confirm that's the right message," she told Dallas News. "The message, the melody, her voice — everything. We love it. I told the girls everyone loved it. And it confirmed to them this kind of attitude catches on. People love stuff like that. You don't have to fit in with everything and everyone."

Put you makeup on
Get your nails done
Curl your hair
Run the extra miles, keep it slim so they like you, do you like you?
Get your sexy on
Don't be shy girl
Take it off
This is what you want, to belong, so they like you
Do you like you?
