Warren Haynes and Gov't Mule are a bit more into Pink Floyd than most bands.

Sure, it seems like there's a Floyd cover at every show these days but how many groups can perform three hours of Floyd covers? Gov't might be alone in that regard.

Their new release — Dark Side of the Mule — is a three-disc set of live Floyd covers from a 2008 show in Boston.

"Each song on Shout! has it its own personality - it sounds like Gov't Mule but doesn't sound like anything we had ever done," Haynes told Classic Rock, referring to the group's 2013 original release. "These new archival live releases just further that concept, and allow us to highlight some of our influences as well as how far we've come since the first album."

Dark Side of the Mule will be available Dec. 8 on standard CD and deluxe 3-CD/DVD. A vinyl package will also be available on Jan. 13.
