With both Beyoncé and Jay-Z in attendance, Solange Knowles married music video director Alan Ferguson in New Orleans on Saturday night.

From E! Online: The pre-wedding festivities kicked off on Friday night. Solange, sporting a gorgeous, modern bridal-style dress, was spotted walking and holding hands with her beau as they headed towards the Indywood Cinema theatre, while Bey was seen entering the building by herself. Guests reportedly watched Mahogany starring Diana Ross.

Knowles was previously married to Daniel Smith from 2004 to 2007.

E! pointed out a March interview with Harper's Bazaar in which Solange discussed life after divorce.

"In a lot of ways, emotionally and mentally, I feel far older than 27," the now-28-year-old said. "Just going through a marriage and a divorce — which I essentially did by 21 — will give you an insane amount of perspective on life.

"Everyone talks about how, in your 30s, all of these growing pains transition into wisdom and you feel more self-assured and confident. But I think I had a bit of a jump-start on that at 27."

She already seemed to be in full swoon with Ferguson, though.

"Luckily, I dated all of the losers ages ago. My love life has been stable for a while. It's a f--ked up thing — without conflict it's a lot harder to write interesting songs."

Solange has not released a studio album since 2008's Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. Her 2012 True EP failed to make much of a dent on the airplay charts.

Ferguson, 51, has a lengthy list of music video credits to his name, including "Hot n Cold" (Katy Perry), "Pocketful of Sunshine" (Natasha Bedingfield) and "Feelin' It" (Hova).
