Each and every week we put together our favorite tracks that had premiered a few days prior into one magnificent mixtape to share with you and your friends. This time around we've decided to share new songs from Darlings, Screaming Females, Houndmouth, Stars and more right here!

2014 has definitely been a great year for Americana leaning, folk inspired female singer-songwriters, with the newest track from Sophie Jamieson proving the point. "Take" is a perfect track to open up this week's mixtape, with drums like an accelerated heartbeat and mesmerizing, souring vocals.

RIYL: Angel Olsen, Chelsea Wolfe, Sharon Van Etten

New York City garage rockers Darlings premiered a great new track off of the upcoming album Feel Better this week with "Mein the Sky." We love the bands usual louder, messier sound, but this song's departure into a more melodic, catchy number is more than welcome!

RIYL: Surfer Blood, Girls

Canadian synth-pop outfit Stars just released the album No One Is Lost earlier this year, marking the band's seventh studio album. Not showing any signs of slowing down, Stars just put out a tour EP featuring a new bonus track entitled "Blue Is The Colour."

Keep Shelly in Athens hasn't been too active since lead singer Sarah P. left the band, but this week we were treated to the debut of the electro-pop band's new vocalist Myrtha. "Fractals" is a dreamy, soothing song that shows great promise for the group's future.

RIYL: Purity Ring, Stars

Check out Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES and Bleachers covering Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way," Bat for Lashes cover of Son Lux's "Plan the Escape" for the soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, and Lorde covering Bright Eyes' "Ladder Song" for the same movie soundtrack!

There's no denying the awesomeness that is Screaming Females. Check out the band's latest rocker "Ripe" right here!

If you're excited for the upcoming Christmas and holiday season, we have a bummer of a song to share with you. The Lonely Wild this week shared the track "Holidays," which highlights the more depressing side of the season. Sorry if this rubs you the wrong way, but this song is just too good!

RIYL: Delta Spirit, Edward Sharp ...

We close out this week's mixtape with Houndmouth's desperate new song "For No One." This folk tune is full of unapologetic yearning and even some arrogance. It's a great song for the fall weather.

RIYL: Dawes, Bob Dylan

Share this week's mixtape with a group of friends on a cold autumn night, as you attempt to stay warm with some great tunes.
