Kendall Jenner has been making news recently, becoming the face of prestigious makeup brand Estee Lauder. But gossip fanatics want to know whether Kim Kardashian's younger sister is dating pop superstar Justin Bieber. Jenner spoke to Nightline about the rumors, explaining that Biebs is merely a friend.
"He's a longtime friend of our family," she says in the video below, via Billboard. "Everybody loves to assume things."
The 19-year-old model also revealed that she is not in a relationship presently: "Truly, I'm focusing on my career. If it comes it comes."
Rumors of the two being an item surfaced last month after they were spotted in Paris having dinner.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jenner addressed haters who say she is cashing in on her famous last name.
"In reality, I worked pretty hard for this, running around doing tests," she said. "It wasn't like I just got it magically."
She also said she asked her famous older sister Kim not to come to her modeling events because it would take some of the attention away from her profession. After all, Kim did pretty much break the Internet recently.
As far as Bieber's love life, the young singer recently unfollowed ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez on Instagram. Theories arose that it had something to do with all those pictures of Biebs and Jenner, while others suspected that the pop star just did not like Gomez's new single "The Heart Wants What It Wants."
"I think in a lot of ways, I'm just at peace now," Gomez told Ryan Seacrest in an interview. "I think there's a struggle with figuring out is it right, is it wrong. I don't know what the future holds, and that's exactly what I say in the song."
