Game has finally reached the end of his contract with Interscope Records, and his demeanor on Live With Larry King on the Larry King Now show suggests that he won't be returning to the label for his sixth album.

Fans of the Compton rapper have long been familiarized with Game's issues with Interscope, ranging from royalty issues to disputes with label-mate and then fellow G-Unit member 50 Cent, but now that he's filled his obligation of creating five records, Game is a "free agent" as he put it on King's show.

"Recently, a free agent. Was signed to Interscope for my last five albums, which of course are all platinum," he said, doing some extraneous PR at the end. "I been taking a lot of meetings and a lot of conference calls about my next move. And I haven't narrowed it down yet."

Two labels loom largest around the water cooler at Music Times when it comes to where Game might land next. Cash Money, the New Orleans label run by Bryan "Birdman" and Ronald "Slim" Williams have always been a hot contender, and Game announced as far back as 2011 that he would be heading that way when he was done at Interscope.

However, in recent months, it appears that Rick Ross and his hot Maybach Music Group might also be scoping him out. Game made a mixtape in 2012 that included Maybach members Ross, Meek Mill and Wale.

The rapper said during 2012 that the money that Interscope and Jimmy Iovine possessed was appealing, but it would seem he's since backed off that stance.

Keep your eyes on the Game.
