If you're anything like us, you're far too busy planning your awesome Halloween costume to be bothered with the recent announcements regarding Christmas music. Martina McBride understands there are a few major holidays left, but she wants to make sure you have a chance to get a ticket to her annual "Joy of Christmas Tour" early. The country star recently announced the dozen dates on this year's tour.
McBride doesn't mess around when it comes to celebrating Christmas. Among last year's highlights
-Local celebrities (including several NFL players) reading How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
-young ballerinas from each locale getting time to perform.
-and of course McBride herself delivering all the Christmas "chestnuts."
She confirmed that the Grinch tradition will continue this year, but the rest of the schedule remains up in the air. One highlight for her personally, she said, would be playing Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium.
"I had so much fun on the 'Joy of Christmas Tour' last year," she said. "We didn't get to play Nashville, so I'm really looking forward to bringing the show to my hometown and especially excited to be playing the Ryman again. I love performing there!"
