DJ Khaled has released the album art and tracklist for his forthcoming record, Suffering From Success. More notable is the title and the cover: Khaled is shown, clearly struggling with some sort of depression, head in hand. Clearly, the huge rock on his pinkie, his bounty of jewelry and his very comfortable-looking fur coat are not making him feel any better. So is it possible that his ailment is a real one?

Let's consider.

Khaled made a total of around $12 million for his work between 2005 and 2011, which included production, his own albums, and his Miami radio show. However, the guy got behind on rent payments and other debts, ended up losing roughly $9 million of that, and was evicted from his Miami mansion. We admit that sucks, but he hasn't given clear proof that success itself has brought suffering on him, but rather that he's bad at handling success.

During 2012, Khaled signed a $1.5 million deal with Cash Money Records. If the DJ is suffering, let's find out just how much.

FEDERAL INCOME TAX: During 2012, 35 percent federal income tax was charged to anyone earning more than $388,350. That means Khaled's $1.5 million drops to $975,000. We just want to note that we made far less than that this year (and our pinkie ring is also much smaller).

STATE INCOME TAX: Florida doesn't have any personal income tax! Khaled might get charged if he's considered a corporation, but he isn't.

In the end, even if Khaled doesn't fill out his taxes correctly and doesn't receive any tax refund, he'll wind up with $975,000 for one year. This also doesn't take into consideration what he earned doing various tours, selling albums, et cetera, as we weren't able to find that information.

We assumed during our calculations that Khaled filed as "single," based strictly on this promotional photo:
