Andre 3000 announced an art exhibit recently that will feature the jumpsuits he wore for the previous Outkast tour. Each jumpsuit displayed a personal thought or message from Andre like "life is short. take more baths" and "obviously oblivious." The rapper partnered with the Savannah College of Art and Design, or SCAD, to put on an exhibit to highlight the jumpsuits and other artwork, XXL notes. Paula Wallace, president and founder of SCAD, spoke to the artist recently to learn more about the idea.

"I knew these were old songs. I can't say anything new on an old song," he said about the jumpsuit concept. "It was sometimes just thoughts off the top of my head, funny thoughts, things to make the audience think."

Andre 3000, aka Andre Benjamin, said it was fun for him, so he kept doing it throughout the reunion jaunt with Big Boi.

"The response was great," he said about the fans and their response to the messages. "It was to start a conversation and that's what it's done. People started to make up their own messages. I saw so many people with black suits on. I was like, 'Oh. This is cool.'"

The exhibit, titled i feel ya, will run from Dec. 3 to Dec. 14 in Miami (318 NW 23rd Street, Wynwood).

"Some other music artist performed live on television, and they made their own suit that said 'i feel ya, andre,'" he said about the title. "I guess she had seen a suit that I wore and she was like, 'I feel that.'"

The rapper doesn't have any plans to make another album with Big Boi. Andre, who just appeared in a Jimi Hendrix biopic, will most likely turn to acting to fill that creative void.
