Hudson Mohawke's Chimes was the biggest track to come from his September EP Chimes. It also included three other tunes, "Brainwave", "King Kong Beaver" and a Gammer Re-Edit of the title track "Chimes." It acquired such a level of notoriety that it received a remix from noted rappers French Montana, Future, Travi$ Scott and Pusha T. Now to add to the fanfare around the track, Hudson Mohawke has decided to release an interactive video around the song that gives fans a chance to be a part of the experience.

The interactive video doesn't give you too many options in terms of what you can do, but the visuals are cool. You can contort and mash various images on the screen, which are primarily large fatheads of each artist on the track. Different spacey backgrounds pass by behind the floating heads and logos for each artist.

It is nice to see an artist try something different out for a video that isn't another tame, boring lyric video. For a song that has been as big as this in 2014 for Hudson Mohawke, it makes sense to invest in a video with this level of production, notably with all of the names on the remix.

In addition to the remix, Chimes was featured prominently in an Apple commercial for their Macbook Pros that got plenty of airtime over the summer. It became the most Shazamed track (via The Drum) at the time of the airing in the UK. The Kanye West collaborator has not hinted at much else that he is working on, but he did divulge in an interview with The Fader that he will be working again with Kanye on his upcoming album.

Check out the video on his website and listen to the song below.
