Drake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke and Keith Urban will kick off the Grammy season this year, performing at the nominations concert in Dec. 6.

According to The Associated Press, the one-hour special will take place live at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Past Grammy's host, LL Cool J, will host The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night on CBS.

All five performers are expected to do well this year. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's smash 2012 debut, The Heist, went platinum, catapulting the Seattle duo into high profile festival gigs as well as TV appearances. Drake's most recent album Nothing Was The Same was highly anticipated all year and has topped the Billboard 200 album chart. Robin Thicke's smash hit, "Blurred Lines" became the summer 2013 anthem, landing him a spot on the VMAs. He has previously won Grammys for songs written for Jennifer Hudson and Usher. Keith Urban's latest effort, Fuse, also topped the Billboard charts last month.

The 2014 Grammys will take place the following month at The Staples Center in Los Angeles on Jan. 26.
