Nick "Swaggy P" Young has been dating hip-hop star Iggy Azalea since October of last year, but it wasn't until recently that he divulged the secret to getting one of pop's biggest contemporary successes to fall for him.
"I was watching a video of hers; I think it was 'Work,'" he says in a Forever 21 video (via Billboard). "I was like, 'Oh man, she looks very hot.' I go on my Twitter and make her my Wednesday crush. She actually bid on it. And then I got to mackin'."
Azalea appears at the end of clip to set the story straight.
"I actually didn't speak to you online," Iggy says. "You said you had a crush. And we have the same friends who lied to you."
She then added to the crew: "He [was] way cooler and nicer than he actually was enough for me to want to meet him."

Swaggy P recently spoke to DuJour about the relationship.
"From her songs, I thought she'd be all about going to clubs and partying, but it's the opposite of that," he said. "She wakes up early every morning to take care of her dogs, and she cooks for me. From her rapping, I was very surprised that she could do all that. She's a really cool, down-to-earth person."
The stars are just like us!
"We fight over the TV remote because she watches TLC and the Weather Channel all night," he said. "We argue all the time, but we get it worked out. We understand each other."
Young's parents celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary this year, which had Young thinking about the long-term prospects of his current relationship.
"Growing up I always wanted to be married and have a family, and it's difficult. I ask them every day how they do it. It's a process," he said. "Me and Iggy just bought a house. We've been getting really close lately. I've never been with somebody like this. So, I'm taking it as a challenge."
