The Voice has perhaps failed to produce one singular mega-star like The X-Factor's One Direction or a slew of artists from American Idol (Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry), but the show is doing just fine on its own. Last night on the program, host Carson Daly and the season seven coaches - Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton - announced that in its seven seasons, the reality competition has surpassed 20 million singles sold.

The show has sold an astonishing number of singles throughout its seven seasons and brought some impressive accomplishments along with it.

Singles from episodes of The Voice have charted on the Billboard Hot 100 over 50 times, with season one winner Javier Colon peaking the highest at No. 17 with "Stitch By Stitch." Songs from the likes of Cassadee Pope, Matthew Schuler and Dia Frampton have also cracked the Top 40.

The show is also a mainstay on the iTunes U.S. singles chart. Beginning in season three, downloads played a role in the voting tally, with Pope, Danielle Bradburry and even season seven's Matt McAndrew seeing big returns for a charting single in the voting tally.

McAndrew's performances of "Take Me To Church" and "The Blower's Daughter," Craig Wayne Boyd's "I Walk The Line," Damien's "Someone Like You" and Taylor John Williams' "Royals" have all charted in the top 10 U.S. singles on iTunes. Though, only "Take Me To Church" has cracked the Hot 100.

"All of us at Republic Records are thrilled to be part of this major milestone on The Voice. An achievement like this is only possible through the hard work, commitment and collaboration from everyone including NBC, iTunes, Mark Burnett and Republic Records. We are so happy to be a part of 'The Voice,'" said Tom Mackay, General Manager West Coast / EVP, Republic Records, in a press release.

The Voice season seven will continue tonight, when the top five contestants are revealed.
