Avril Lavigne's fifth studio album is set to drop soon. Last week she debuted her third single, "Let Me Go," a duet with husband, and Nickleback frontman, Chad Kroger. The Canadian pop-punk princess has now released the video for the track, which also features Kroger.

In the somber video, Lavigne sits in an empty house remembering what her life used to be like before her ex-lover left. "I got to let it go, just let it go," she screams.

There is some nice product placement as well, with a Sony tablet displaying images of Kroger playing guitar. The technology seems a little out of place in a house where an hourglass is used to tell time (but we digress).

The self-titled album is set to drop Nov. 5, and features the tracks "Here's To Never Growing Up" and "Rock N Roll" as well as the new single, "Let Me Go."

The 29-year-old singer recently talked to Digital Spy about the album.

"It's really diverse. ...There's rock, piano songs, stripped down stuff... there's an electronic song called 'Hello Kitty.' ...[It] was such an interesting topic and subject. It was really exciting. I didn't want it to sound like anything I'd done before. I wanted it to sound over the top so I ended up hiring a new producer to help me with it. ...Obviously it's flirtatious and somewhat sexual, but it's genuinely about my love for Hello Kitty!"

She also mentions a few tracks that are more nostalgic in their sound, such as the track "17," which she says is about never truly growing up.

"I'll always be young at heart and have a free spirit," she told them. "It doesn't matter how old you are — you can be young forever in your spirit and your attitude."
