On Monday (Dec.1) 20-year-old French wunderkind, Madeon teased the cover art and release date his new single "You're On" featuring LA singer, songwriter and producer Kyan. The artwork resembled that of his previous single "Imperium", leading fans to believe that the new song may be in the same style as his October free download. He took to Twitter to refute any idea that the two singles will sound similar and gives an idea behind his influences for the song (via EDMTunes). He also confirms that the title is in fact "You're On," which the hieroglyphics on the cover art had been deciphered by a few intelligent fans shortly after the announcement.

Arriving this upcoming Monday, Dec. 8, Madeon has put a short 15-second teaser of the song on his Instagram account, confirming what his tweet says about the song and the potential new direction of his music. Madeon shows his watchful eye for talent, picking the very talented Kyan to play an integral role in this track. 2014 has been quiet for the French DJ/producer.
He has done plenty of club gigs and festival shows around the world in 2014, but he has largely withdrawn from the outside world to try and finish his debut album on Columbia Records that was originally slated to be released in 2014, but is being pushed off until until early next year 2015, according to Thump. As a producer who maddeningly strives for perfection, it should be no surprise there have been this many delays on the album.
