A$AP Mob has always been into fashion and art, so to hear the news that A$AP Ferg would get his own line of apparel was not surprising on the surface. He has been deeply involved in fashion for the majority of his life and now takes another step into the clothing world. With no apparent connection to Syracuse, the "Doe-Active" rapper has launched a new apparel line, "Trap Lord," with Virgin Mega for the school.

Ferg flipped the Syracuse gear with the A$AP streetwear style, keeping the signature blue and orange within an updated college inspired look. The limited edition release will go on sale tomorrow via the Virgin Mega app. To get the gear, you won't have to physically wait in line, but you can wait in line virtually to make sure you get some limited edition "Trap Lord" Syracuse swag. It isn't totally clear why he chose Syracuse. Maybe he is a fan of Carmelo Anthony winning a championship in 2003, the vastness of the Carrier Dome, or the zone defense, but either way, he gave their college apparel a nice makeover.

This is not the first time Ferg has ventured into the frenetic world of fashion. He started his own clothing line, Devoni, in 2005, when he was 17 years old. The Devoni belts, which run you $150, have been worn by big names like Chris Brown and Swizz Beats as noted by Complex.

Ferg will be joining Skrillex and Diplo for their Jack U takeover of Madison Square Garden on New Years Eve. He hasn't announced what he will be wearing for the occasion, but don't be surprised to see some 'Cuse gear for a night out in NYC.

The apparel will go on sale tomorrow, Dec. 5 at 5PM EST. You can download the Virgin Mega app from the iTunes app store to get in line now for some gear.
