Justin Timberlake is a huge Garth Brooks fan. Just check out the video below. Yeah, that's proof that the pop superstar grew up on the country singer's soothing vocals. The former NSYNC leader took a break from his busy schedule Thursday night (December 4) to attend a Brooks concert in St. Louis. Timberlake's fanboy moments eventually spread throughout social media, Taste of Country notes.

"One of my IDOLS. Garth... You are a MASTER of your craft. I am in awe of you, still," he posted on Instagram along with a photo of he and Brooks.

Another photo followed on Twitter, apparently taken by someone who was enjoying Timberlake enjoying the concert. He's beyond happy.

After experiencing success with his boy band and later as a solo artist, Timberlake took a break from recording in 2006 to focus on acting. He came back full force last year with the The 20/20 Experience. The hiatus didn't affect Timberlake's hitmaking abilities either. The album hit number one on the Billboard 200 chart behind singles like "Mirrors" and the Jay Z collaboration "Suit & Tie." A sequel to the album followed

"The 20/20 Experience is the biggest pop event of 2013 so far, but it's not quite a pop album," Rolling Stone wrote. "Its sense of musical space-time is more elastic and sprawling than anything on the radio: The 10 tracks average seven minutes; songs unfurl into vamps, abruptly change keys, pile on unexpected beats and harmonies. The music is catchy, but the emphasis is on rhythm and flow."

Timberlake appeared in Runner Runner and Inside Llewyn Davis last year. His next film project is Spinning Gold, a biopic about '70s record producer Neil Bogart.
