Rapper Tyga has announced a new LP that will come out during Spring of 2014 on Young Money. The "Rack City" rapper told Los Angeles hip-hop station Power 106 that the album would be titled The Gold Album: The 18th Dynasty.

What anything in that title means is a mystery as of now. According to reliable history resources, there were 83 Chinese dynasties, unless Tyga is referring to a different culture altogether. The rapper has waxed philosophical before on his album titles, such as Careless World during 2012 (an album that featured the remarkably unphilosophical "Rack City" single). Hotel California, his 2013 release, seems to be an Eagles reference.

What is clear at the moment is that Tyga intends for the album to be less mainstream than California.

"It's gonna be more kinda how like Careless World, my first album, was... It's way less commercial," he said during the interview. "I felt like Hotel California was more commercial and I made more radio-type records. This album is straight rap."

Nothing says being less commercial than featuring Justin Bieber in the album's first single, which is just what Tyga has done. The pop star makes an appearance on "Wait For A Minute," the track that the rapper played for radio listeners, and that you can hear below.

Not that the song's bad at all, but it seems far more like Justin-Bieber-featuring-Tyga than vice versa. Biebs handles the smooth hook of the track, as well as the first verse (and there are only two verses). Tyga drops his lines at around 1:20 and then lets Bieber take over again. No word on who made this beat, but it deserves credit as well. It follows a sinuous Eastern vibe, sparse yet effective like "Rack City," so our money's on DJ Mustard again.
