Part of the new wave of UK house and garage exports going global, Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, known professionally as Gorgon City, are coming back to the United States. They teased a small North American tour a short while ago and now have revealed the details for where they will be touching down. They will begin their tour in New York City on February 17 at an undisclosed location, but since it is a live tour, the show will probably be some place with a stage where they can set up their gear like a Music Hall of Williamsburg, Terminal 5 or Webster Hall. They will then hit three more U.S. hotspots, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, before circling back to the East Coast for two concerts in Canada in Montreal and Toronto on Feb. 25 and 26, respectively (via Dancing Astronaut).

The duo is looking to expand on their current repertoire of performances and bring in a live aspect to the show. They have not given any details as to what they will be doing on stage, but one might expect to see them play similar instruments as Disclosure since they have similar sounds.

Gorgon City released their debut artist album Sirens in October and the duo has been busy touring the globe in support of the album. The big step to go live will risky for the duo, but welcome as more acts look to bring live instrumentation into electronic music. Grab their album on iTunes.
