The world is Sam Smith's. It's been a benchmark year for the singer-songwriter - he's had two top 10 singles with "Stay With Me" and "I'm Not The Only One," his album In The Lonely Hour has been deemed one of the year's best and (to cap it all off) he's been nominated for six Grammys. It seems as though he knows everything is at his feet, if the new music video for "Like I Can" is any indication.

Shot in black and white, the music video for "Like I Can" features Smith and a group of friends taking on New York City while wearing snazzy tuxedos, seemingly just because it's been an awesome 2014 and they can.

Pulling away thematically from the song's lyrics, "Like I Can" feels like a year-end celebration, with Smith and co. doing really whatever they well please (while not causing chaos).

They smoke cigars on a rooftop overlooking the stunning Manhattan skyline, they run down the Brooklyn bridge, eat a slice of pizza served by a kind old lady, buy some flowers from a sidewalk vendor, give said flowers to a woman from the fire escape. The classy gents then end the night with a little hibachi dinner and celebratory shots.

Kind of like the world's best dressed and least intimidating gang.
