The Killers have proven over their ten-year history that they can bang out some hits, as evidenced by their impressive collection of singles on the best of compilation Direct Hits. The album contains two brand-new tracks including the Anthony Gonzalez-produced "Shot at the Night." The deluxe edition will also feature an original demo of "Mr. Brightside" and a Calvin Harris remix of "When You Were Young."

Harris talked to Rolling Stone about working with one of his favorite bands. "It was a real honor to be asked to remix one of my favorite modern bands," he told them. "It was an exciting challenge for me to update this classic track for the dancefloor in a tasteful and respectful way."

Direct Hits is due out Nov. 11 via Island Records. The deluxe edition will feature two extra tracks, a documentary DVD with never-before-seen footage, and a collection of 5 x 10" vinyl records of the singles on the album.
