Following the Sony leak, new information has emerged about plans for a potential Kanye West film. Although the veracity of the leaked emails have yet to be confirmed, West is reportedly hunting for a home for an up-coming full-length feature film that "involves both cinematic and technological innovation," according to an email obtained by The Daily Beast from West's creative assistant Elon Rutberg.

Rutberg appears to have pitched the project to Sony Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal back in August.

"I supervise all of Kanye's film and media projects, and we have a major film project coming up that involves both cinematic and technological innovation, so I naturally thought Sony and wanted to reach out," Rutberg wrote. "We premiered a multi-screen cinema experience to great response at Cannes 2012, and are looking to take the storytelling to the next level with a feature length film, shot for an immersive cinema experience."

It is unclear whether the film in question is the long-awaited Hype Williams-directed Yeezus tour film or an expansion of the aforementioned film that debuted at Cannes 2012 called Cruel Summer.

West will also reportedly appear alongside Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in an Untitled Christmas Eve film, directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50) due out in 2015.

The Daily Beast apparently found an email dated Aug. 7, 2014 from the film's producer, James Weaver, to Pascal, Rogen and his filmmaking partner Evan Goldberg talking about an upcoming trailer for the project.

"We'll have an XMAS tease for 2015. We have a specific idea to attach to The Interview that will crush. Seth, Joe, and [Anthony] Mackie reenacting the scene from BIG on the floor piano at FAO Schwartz with Kanye West. It's f--king awesome."

If the trailer really is attached to The Interview, we'll probably see it soon as the film is due out on Christmas (Dec. 25).
