Kanye West's "Yeezus" tour took another hit when its Friday stop in Anaheim was postponed. It's the second stop that West and company have had to reschedule since beginning earlier this month. As of press time, no official reason has been given for the rescheduling, but there's decent reason to believe that the requirements for setting up the stage didn't allow engineers enough time to get it rigged.

The "Yeezus" setup features, among other things, a huge oval video screen elevated above the stage and a nearly 30-foot tall mountain. West's Vancouver show was previously rescheduled from October 20 to Halloween.

"The time frame to get this done was not realistic," said Maynard Smith, the lead rigger at Seattle's Key Arena, the show prior to the Vancouver date. "Back-to-back dates in this tour are just not realistic at this point...They just didn't have a realistic grasp of the degree of complexity and the time requirements of off-loading and assembling and flying out this whole thing and then deconstructing it packing it and trucking it."

Key Arena hosted a Pink concert the day after West's show, and crew for that gig were delayed as West's roadies packed up his set that morning.

The Anaheim postponement might not be equipment related however. West's last show was at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, not exactly a long drive from the Honda Center in nearby Anaheim. Four days should be long enough to schlep a set, even one of Westian proportions.

The new date is December 13, and the Honda Center will honor tickets for the Friday show. Kendrick Lamar will reportedly still open.
