Justin Bieber has premiered his latest song "Bad Day," the fifth track in his Music Mondays series. The emotional ballad features Bieber's falsetto crooning over an acoustic melody with a simple beat and spare bass. The artwork accompanying the track shows a storm cloud pouring down heavy purple rain.

He again sings about heartbreak. We're starting to think this whole series is about his breakup with Selena Gomez. On "Recovery" he is asking for forgiveness, but on "Bad Day," he comes to terms that his love is lost.

"No I didn't think you would let me down that easy / Oh, no girl / And I didn't think it was over /Until you walked away / Like it was nothing baby / And that moment was so hard for me to breathe / 'Cause you took away the biggest part of me, yeah /Life is so unpredictable."

Here's hoping the heartbreak theme ends on his next single, and we can see Bieber in a little happier.

The Music Monday's series consists of 10 singles which are dropped right before midnight each Monday leading up to the Christmas Day release of Believe 3D. The upcoming 3D movie is the follow up to his 2011 concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. Bieber began the series with a tweet explaining that these songs were his "journals" and therefore of a more personal nature.
