The theme of the winter has been festival after-movies. The dance world has already sent out its theatric volleys and now Coachella is matching with its own six-minute piece without any fanfare or announcement. Situated to The Family Crest's "Beneath The Brine," Coachella crafts a unique aftermovie with plenty of interesting effects and well put together editing techniques. The film, directed by Joe Slavin, does not simply deliver clip after clip of run-of-the-mill festival footage, but instead focuses on the editing and effects, using time lapses and super slow-motion shots to bring out the emotion and character of the artists and attendees of the festival.

The film takes you to each stage throughout the festival at the very start to the very end with the some of the biggest crowds one could possibly imagine. The video does an outstanding job at capturing the best moments from the festival, whether it was a big drop from the Sahara tent, a singer crowd surfing over the first few rows of fans, or a festival goer gleefully getting sprayed by water under the harsh desert sun, the cameras caught it all in super slow motion.

The movie balanced shooting the artists and the attendees, the stages and the campsites, giving a balanced view of the festival.

2014 saw another big year of acts take the stage at Coachella. Artists like Outkast, Nicolas Jaar, Pharrell, Skrillex, Queens Of The Stone Age, Calvin Harris, Beck, Arcade Fire and Lorde all joined the party this past year at Coachella.

For the 2015 edition, tickets sold out almost instantaneously back in May, as one might expect. If you were because inspired to go this year because of the after movie, 2016 may be your chance to go to Indio, California.
