Tiësto has been one of the global ambassadors for dance music for two decades. The "Wasted" DJ has expanded his reach beyond just music into arenas such as creating his own headphone like, partnering with Guess to start a special "Club Life" Tiësto brand of clothing and becoming a spokesman for numerous brands, including 7UP. The Dutch disc jockey has also taken to using his extensive back catalog to score water shows at fountains around the world, via Dancing Astronaut. Recently, he went back to his native country of the Netherlands and brought his music to the fountains of fairy-tale theme park Efteling.

According to Efteling, Tiësto set his music to the third largest water fountain show in the world, titled Aquanura. Mixing between new and old, with some added cinematic interludes, the production was almost as good as a Tiësto festival show. Everything was right on time with matching lights and some added pyrotechnics thrown in for good measure to enthrall the small but enthusiastic crowd in attendance. For something this foreign to dance music, it was well-produced, with seamless transitions between songs, and the visuals matched effortlessly.

This is not the first time his music has been used to soundtrack a large water fountain display. In his second home, Las Vegas, Tiësto used his recent album A Town Called Paradise, fittingly an ode to Las Vegas, to score a water show at the Bellagio water fountains, the first time a DJ had ever done something of that magnitude.

Tiësto is not taking any breaks heading into the home stretch of 2014, playing nine shows in eight nights to close out the year all over the Western Hemisphere. Head to his Facebook page to see the schedule.
