Last week U.K. singer-songwriter Archy "King Krule" Marshall made his late night debut on The Late Show with David Letterman where he performed the guitar-driven single "Easy Easy" off his latest album 6 Feet Beneath the Moon, released back in August.

He continued his late night circuit, appearing on Conan last night to perform another track of the album, "A Lizard State." Backing him was house band Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band, who infused the track with a bellowing horn section.

Born in '94, the 19-year-old singer, whose latest moniker was inspired by King Creole (formerly Zoo Kid), released his first demo at age 8. His style is often referred to as darkwave, and the BBC has likened him to Morrissey and Edwyn Collins. He studied at the same school as Adele and Amy Winehouse (Brit School) for two years before dropping out.
