Each and every week we put together our favorite tracks that had premiered a few days prior into one magnificent mixtape to share with you and your friends. This time around we've decided to share new songs from Modest Mouse, Emily Haines, Spooky Black, Pink Mountaintops and more right here! Plus, we have some great Christmas songs this week!

Modest Mouse is releasing a brand new album, Strangers to Ourselves, in March of 2015 and this week we were treated to the first single off of the highly anticipated record. "Lampshades on Fire" is a great reintroduction to the band, surely a welcome new track for die-hard fans of the band. Listen to this new song right here:

Emily Haines is back to her solo work after taking a break from Metric, and we're pretty excited for what's to come. This week we heard her newest song, "Lightning Strikes," which is a collaboration with GoldieBlox, a toy company that encourages a younger generation of females to grow into engineers. This is definitely an empowering number!

RIYL: Sia, Chvrches, Metric

2015 is going to be the year of Spooky Black, the mysterious 16-year-old viral sensation out of Minnesota that is tearing up the blogosphere these days. His newest track, "Worn," is the first song to be released under his new name, Corbin. Whichever name he's using, we can't wait for more.

RIYL: James Blake, King Krule

You should definitely check out the previously unreleased track "Golden Facelift" from Broken Social Scene and Modern Baseball covering The Killers' "When You Were Young."

The Decemberists are going full-speed with releasing new lyric music videos, and this week we were treated to "The Wrong Year." Just as somber and devastating as the band's other songs, this is a sing that the band isn't slowing down any time soon.

RIYL: Damien Rice, Ryan Adams, Wilco

A number of Christmas songs were released this week, too! Check out "Oh Lonely Night" from Los Angeles Police Department, the amazing storytelling of Field Report in their new song "On Christmas Eve," and Jason Lytle of Grandaddy teaming with Band of Horses for "Hang an Ornament."

"Asleep with an Angel" is the rocking new track from Pink Mountaintops, a perfect kick in the face to end our mixtape this week. We can hear garage and classic rock pumping through our speakers with this one; perfect for the colder winter days ahead of us!

RIYL: The Hold Steady

You can probably guess that the holiday themed songs would make this mixtape a perfect gift for Christmas- and you'd be absolutely right! Share these covers and original tunes, as well as these brand new songs from the past week, with the ones that you love this year!
