When Kourtney Kardashian first divulged her new son's name to the world yesterday, Dec. 21, it was met with mixed reviews. Some fans seem to think that Reign Aston Disick is even worse than North West, while others love the fact that she chose a unique moniker for her new baby. Perhaps no one was more shocked by his name than baby daddy Scott Disick. Apparently the couple had been contemplating honoring both of their fathers in their name choice, but in the end Kardashian nixed that completely.
According to a source for Hollywood Life, Disick has not exactly been acting like a real father for the majority of Kardashian's pregnancy, and he likely enraged her by bouncing out to attend a lingerie party just a few days after his son's birth.
"They both fought over the name, and Scott really wanted to stick to honoring their fathers, but Kourtney got more adamant that it be unique. She also is very upset with Scott and felt that he shouldn't have final say over the name since he is not doing his part as a father. Kourtney wanted to make the name decision to really hit home with Scott and see if it makes him want to finally change and get his act together," said the source.
It is kind of not surprising that Kardashian would feel like she had the right to have the final say over her new baby's name, especially when you think of the amount of stress Disick's bad-boy behavior has put her under just during this pregnancy alone.
