Bronx rapper French Montana has teamed up with producer Detail for a remix of Beyoncé's recent single "7/11," which you can check out below. While the original track is a hard-hitting club banger, this remix replaces the synths with an airy acoustic guitar line and some piano. Instead of rapping, French Montana sticks to singing for this remix, since Beyoncé did plenty of rapping herself in the original version.

The original "7/11" was released as the lead single from the platinum edition of Beyoncé's self-titled album, which was released last month on Nov. 24. You can check out her great DIY music video for the song here:

French Montana's most recent, full-length release was his Coke Boys 4 mixtape, released in January. The 30-year-old rapper's most recent full-length album Excuse My French was released back in May 2013 and spawned three singles: "Pop That" featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne; "Freaks" featuring Nicki Minaj; and "Ain't Worried About Nothin'." His next studio album, Mac & Cheese 4, is set for release at some point in 2015.

"I'm going back to the essence on this album," Montana told Rolling Stone in January. "We're giving the fans that grew up on me what they want. When we made the other music, it was just to be a little different and not do the same thing over."

Just last week, Montana shared a new collaborative EP with producer Harry Fraud titled Mac & Cheese 4: The Appetizer, which is a sort of introduction for Mac & Cheese 4. You can download the EP for free here.
