Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn may have reeled off an amazing touchdown run on Sunday night, but he punctuated the play with a gesture that the National Football League is now deeming obscene. Just as he crossed the goal line, he did a 180-degree turn and leapt backwards into the end zone while holding his crotch and that move is going to cost him.

Lynch's fine is officially for "unsportsmanlike conduct," and is notably smaller than the $200,000 fine handed down by the league earlier this year after Lynch refused to speak with the media.

Needless to say, this year has been a circus of sorts for the running back.

After that monster fine from the league, teammates Richard Sherman and Doug Baldwin took over a press conference to decry the NFL's actions in a demonstration that included a life-sized cardboard cutout of Baldwin.

All of that preceded a couple odd media sessions with Lynch. During the first, he answered all reporters' questions with "Yeah" and then decided to try an opposite tactic.

On Sunday, with Seattle up by a few scores in the fourth quarter, the team was looking to put a nail in the Arizona Cardinals' coffin. Lynch had sat out much of the first half due to a stomach ailment, but he ate a pack of Skittles before entering the game, and proceeded to break the game open in the final minutes:

That move at the end will make his wallet a tad lighter.

From Pro Football Talk: Per a league source, Lynch received a fine in the amount of $11,050 for his backward dive while grabbing his crotch into the end zone at the tail end of his career-long 79-yard touchdown run. Lynch wasn't flagged for the move, which was deemed to be unsportsmanlike conduct.

Following the run, Marshawn continued his crusade against the media, and answered every question with, "Thanks for asking."

If we're lucky, the Seahawks will make a deep playoff run, an we'll get plenty more highlights from their charming star.
