It's been a busy two days for Texas A&M football coach Kevin Sumlin, who had to fire a pair of young men after their boneheaded mistakes. Tuesday, Sumlin got wind that his pool boy was posting about him on Twitter, and decided to act swiftly.

The pool boy was understandably distraught:

This comes a day after Sumlin and the Aggies defeated the West Virginia Mountaineers in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. But the win didn't grab as many headlines as graduate assistant Michael Richardson, who struck two WVU players in the head during the first half. Check out the video evidence:

Sumlin kicked Richardson off the sideline and then decide to let him go after reviewing the evidence.

"Upon returning to College Station last night, I had the opportunity to gather information and watch clips of one of our student assistant coaches initiating physical contact on two separate occasions with a West Virginia player," Sumlin said (via ESPN). "I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed, as his behavior reflected poorly on our program.

"I removed him from the sideline at halftime of yesterday's game after being informed of the incidents and, after further review, have permanently dismissed him from our football program."

ESPN notes Richardson played linebacker as a true freshman for Texas A&M before suffering a career-ending neck injury in November 2012. He served as a student assistant coach for the Aggies from then on, but is now looking for a new job. We can think of one opening in particular, and it's in Sumlin's backyard.
