Sooo, about last night. Yeesh. It was New Year's Eve, and if you weren't one of the million people in Times Square and were out celebrating like us here at Music Times, well, maybe today isn't going so well for you.

Yes, we're talking about that wonderful New Year's Day tradition, the hangover.

The pounding headache, the queasy stomach, the tired eyes. It's never a good thing. But, it is still the New Year after all, and what would a holiday be without an accompanying playlist?

We got your back.

Introducing, the 2015 Music Times Hangover playlist. Sit back, drink a lot of water, pop an Aspirin and check out our list of soothing songs below. We can't guarantee that it's going to cure everything that ails you, but it's not going to hurt, right?

Enya, "Only Time"

The Gregorian chants in this song definitely supply that calming vibe we all need so very much this Jan. 1, and the way Enya's voice blends in with the dripping, beautiful instrumentation is like a mental massage. On another level, as much as we want to help you with this music, "Only Time" can cure a hangover.

Passenger, "Let Her Go"

One of the biggest hits of last year can supply some much needed acoustic music for today. Blend together the sweet, soft guitars with Michael Rosenberg's soft voice and you have a remembrance of last year alongside something nice and soft for the New Year.

Bon Iver, "Re: Stacks"

When you think of beautiful music, nobody comes to mind better than Bon Iver. This track, which closes out 2008's For Emma, Forever Ago, is not only gorgeous but there's also a distinctly wintery sound to it.

Iron & Wine, "Such Great Heights"

Maybe it's a bit of an obvious choice from Iron & Wine's discography, but there really are few songs better for today than "Such Great Heights." Not only does it offer the quiet acoustic necessities but if you found a new love on New Year's Eve, this song could help usher you into a new era.

The Civil Wars, "Poison and Wine"

And what would the New Year be without a little bit of heartache, right? Not like we mean to bum you out, but sometimes you just need a good cry. And The Civil War's "Poison and Wine" can supply the strain and pain of a love gone while still sounding totally gorgeous to melt away that pounding headache.

John Mayer, "XO"

One of last year's biggest hits, from Beyoncé of course, got an acoustic remix from John Mayer. This cover is just soft and simple enough to not shake you up as much as the original might this afternoon. Add in Mayer's always throaty, sweet vocals and you've got some much needed medicine.

Beck, "Blue Moon"

Another track from last year (and one of Music Times's favorite albums of 2014), Beck's "Blue Moon" is filled with rich harmonies, perfectly plucked string instruments and ethereal vocals. It should be enough to cut through anything last night might have tossed at you.

DJ Snake & Lil Jon, "Turn Down For What"

Just kidding. This song may make you vomit today.
