The Brown Bag AllStars, based out of Brooklyn, released their now 4th-annual year-end compilation today (Jan. 5), aptly titled Year in Review, which showcases a nice mix of guest features.

Brown Bag AllStars is comprised of a group of rappers, producers and DJs, all of whom share similar exceptional talents and tastes, and who dabble in all elements involved in the creative process.

Each collective member works as both an individual and as part of the group and that is part of the charm of this collective. Comprised of The Audible Doctor, Deejay Element, J57, Soul Khan, Koncept and DJ E-Holla, each member is one to keep tabs on as 2015 unfolds. Each individual member has had their fair share of touring this past year, as well as working on new music and each have several forthcoming projects hidden up their sleeves.

The next show on the collective's line-up is in celebration of J Dilla's birthday and will be held on February 6th at Littlefield in Brooklyn, and will be J57's first official headlining show.

The compilation reviews the past 365 days of music, with both solo tracks and collaborations that the group released, and is kindly available for free courtesy of Audiomack.

50 Cent, Young Buck, Smoke DZA, Pharoahe Monch, Cage, Phantogram, Exile and Torae all had hands involved with these collaborative tracks, and just might be the first time that all these artists are featured in the same compilation.

If 2014 is any indication of the quality of music the members of the Brown Bag All Stars are producing, 2015 is sure to keep the momentum going.

The 13-track project is paired nicely with artwork by Mark Beltran.

Which is your favorite track on this compilation? Do you think more artists should release year-end recaps highlighting their work?
