The American Music Awards just keep piling on the mega-stars. Today (Nov. 19), it was announced that one of music's biggest rising stars, Ariana Grande, will also take the stage in Los Angeles on Sunday.

According to a press release, is joining some of the biggest names in music at this weekend's AMAs, a program that is trying to recover after a major ratings slump last year. She joins the likes of superstars Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, One Direction, Miley Cyrus and more. It hasn't been announced what track Grande will perform; it could be her top 10 single "The Way," new track "Right There" or her premiere holiday single "Last Christmas," which was released earlier today.

Not only will Grande be performing at the AMAs, she's also nominated for Best New Artist at the annual ceremony. She's up against Florida Georgia Line, Imagine Dragons, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Phillip Phillips for the major honor.

This is Grande's first nomination and performance at the American Music Awards.

The American Music Awards will air at 8 p.m. on this Sunday, Nov. 14. Pitbull will be the host of the annual ceremony (and will also perform his new single "Timber" alongside Ke$ha).

Though the AMA announcement is an exciting one for Grande and her Arianators, it's not the only thing she has going for her in the coming weeks. Not only is she in the middle of her Christmas Kisses holiday EP release, but she'll also be promoting her new music at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 28 and stopping by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
