Sia is getting a little bit of flack for her new music video, "Elastic Heart." The emotional clip, which stars 12-year-old Maddie Zeigler and 28-year-old Shia LaBeouf has triggered comments regarding pedophilia and inappropriate content. And now, the "Chandelier" singer has apologized to those who may have been disturbed by the clip, claiming that she only meant to make an emotional people of art.

Sia spoke out on "Elastic Heart" on the ultimate form of PR control: Twitter. Last night (Jan. 7), she logged on to the social site to address her detractors.

"I anticipated some 'pedophelia!!!' Cries for this video. All I can say is Maddie and Shia are two of the only actors I felt could play these two warring 'sia' selves," Sia wrote in a series of tweets.

Though the video, which stars Zeigler and LaBeouf as "warring" Sias dancing in a massive bird cage was praised by many fans for its emotional content, it also got its fair share of controversy due to the massive age difference between the two stars. Even Elle Magazine chastised the clip, calling it "creepy" and "beyond words" on Twitter.

Despite the controversies, the music video for "Elastic Heart" has been another visual hit for Sia. The video had gathered nearly four million views on YouTube since its release yesterday.

And it's no surprise the clip has been such a success - it not only uses the same dancer (Zeigler) as Music Times's best music video of 2014 "Chandelier," but it also shares a choreography.
