Deadmau5 has some great new for his Canadian fans. He is recording a 20-minute long live edit of his classic track, "Strobe," for the final ever concert at legendary Toronto venue, Guvernment. The 2009 classic from his album, For Lack Of A Better Name, remains one of the signature songs of deadmau5's storied discography and helped catapult him to the stardom he enjoys today, while also helping to define an era.

Deadmau5, whose real is Joel Zimmerman, will be DJing the final concert at the Guvernment. His show is sold out, but the closing parties for Guvernment start this weekend with New York City house legend, Danny Tenaglia. Cosmic Gate follows the next weekend, before Armin van Buuren headlines a sold out show on Friday, Knife Party on Saturday and then the grand finale on a Sunday with deadmau5. Tickets are still available for select shows here.

The venue has hosted acts like Avicii, Armin van Buuren, deadmau5, Tiësto, Deep Dish, David Guetta, Hardwell, Steve Angello and more. In addition to the electronic acts in the main room, the Koolhaus, also part of the venue, has hosted the likes of The Rolling Stones, Prince, Bob Dylan, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga and Coldplay.

Listen to the 10-minute version below and imagine what another 10 minutes tacked on will sound like. Hopefully he won't keep this edit exclusive to Guvernment and play it out on tour this summer, preferably at Governors Ball.
