YG and DJ Mustard go together like ketchup and ... you get it. The young hip-hop combo have been putting out a steady stream of music that has captivated modern rap fans over the past year. But we all know even the closest friends can fight.

The two apparently went to blows in a recent showdown that settled a serious Instagram beef.

As previously reported, the rapper and producer sent jabs back and forth on Instagram over purported payments that DJ Mustard alleged he never received for YG's debut album My Krazy Life. YG then posted an expletive-laden comment on a now-deleted DJ Mustard post rebuffing those claims, before claiming that he was not being paid for Mustard's recent album.

Mustard recently told Complex that he and YG figured things out, though.

"I mean, we exchanged words, but we brothers," Mustard said. "That's what brothers do. And then we handled it like men."

So, what does that mean, exactly? YG gave more details to Ebro in the Morning on Friday, saying that the two ended things with a fistfight (via Billboard).

"Me and the homey, we fought and we got it over with and we homies, we gonna stay homies," YG said. "This ain't the first time."

There was more good news: YG is expecting a daughter this June.

"I got one on the way," he said. "Ya'll got me up here releasing information that I ain't supposed to be releasing ... Ya'll tryna scare my birds off."

If that last sentence makes the 24-year-old sound like a nervous Nellie, let him correct you.

"I ain't tripping," he continued. "I'm like already a dad. I take care of my whole family."

Let's celebrate with YG and Mustard's 2014 hit "Left, Right."
