This weekend saw new music from Atlanta-based rapper K Camp, as a result of a visit to a SSUR store for a listening party and barbecue in West Hollywood.

The listening party yielded previews of five new tracks in promotion of his forthcoming mixtape One Way. The listening party featured more than 200 guests such as family, friends and record label executives as well as Ty Dolla $ign and Cozz.

The event also featured DJ sourMILK of the L.A. Leakers providing entertainment for guests, while the store featured complimentary drinks and a BBQ.

The director of urban promotions for Interscope Records, Garrett Williams, introduced K Camp to the crowd and discussed that the artist wanted to put something out for his supporters prior to the release of his highly anticipated debut album being released.

Williams told the crowd, "He came to us and said he wanted to put together something, and a few days later brought us some songs."

K Camp and Interscope Records took an interesting angle in hosting a listening party at a SSUR store, but one that overall was quite the success.

K Camp thanked everyone for attending and played a series of five tracks, out of the 10 total for his upcoming project.

These songs are the first new solo material that the rapper will be releasing since his first EP In Due Time, which featured the track "Cut Her Off," which found its place at the No. 1 slot on the Urban Singles chart. He has been featured on a variety of projects, including a feature for Juicy J.

The mixtape is set to be released on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 19.
