Tori Amos has announced a new album to drop spring 2014 called Unrepentant Geraldines, the follow up to 2012's Gold Dust. This will be her 14th studio album, which will be supported by an extensive world tour starting May 7, 2014 in Dublin then moving across Europe with U.S. dates and other countries to follow.

According to CraveOnline, this album is a "return to her core identity" after her more classically inspired musical projects of the past four years including Midwinter Graces, Night of Hunters and Gold Dust, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Club Dance Chart in February.

In her most recent project, launched last month, Amos composed (along with book writer Samuel Adamson) the musical The Light Princess, which premiered at London's National Theatre which will run at least until February 2014. The musical was nominated for Best Musical by UK Evening Standard Drama Awards.
