Album sales may have been down over on the Billboard 200, but singles downloads continued to be hot over on the Digital Downloads charts. The Top 10 sold a combined 5,000 more downloads than last week-a slight rise-but still impressive considering the recent increase in mp3 sales.

STILL BIG

"The Monster" by Eminem may be the single to reckon with for the rest of 2013. This is the track's third week on top of the Digital Downloads chart, and the second week in a row. Sales dropped 1 percent, but that still meant 241,000 copies downloaded. Lorde and "Royals" may make a move for the year's most popular song by the time 2013 ends, as it saw a 12 percent increase last week, settling into no. 2 with 177,000 downloads. The big boost for "Royals" meant that OneRepublic and "Counting Stars" fell to no. 3 despite seeing 2 percent sales increase (167,000 downloads).

NOT SO BIG ANYMORE, BUT HANGING ON

Avicii, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus refuse to leave the Digital Downloads Top 10, even as sales begin to drop for their respective mega-hits. Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" dropped 15 percent, selling 101,000 downloads and finishing no. 8. Perry scored another 99,000 downloads of "Roar," dropping 16 percent and finishing no. 9. Cyrus and "Wrecking Ball" also dropped 16 percent, staying at no. 10 with 89,000 downloads.

GETTING BIG

Pit Bull and Ke$ha seem to have caught the public's attention with "Timber," as it's stuck at no. 4 for two consecutive weeks. Sales were up 15 percent this week however, boosting downloads by 166,000. Imagine Dragons also stayed put at no. 5, selling another 124,000 downloads of "Demons." Passenger has stayed put near the back of the Top 10 for a few weeks now, but it moved up to no. 7 this week with "Let Her Go," which sold 117,000 downloads.

GIVE US ANOTHER WEEK TO DECIDE IF THIS ONE'S BIG

A Great Big World came out of nowhere two weeks ago, with the Christina Aguilera-assisted version of its single "Say Something" topping the the Downloads chart after they appeared on The Voice. It quickly dropped to no. 12 during week 2 however, but has now bounced back to no. 6 with 121,000 downloads, a 59 percent increase. Let's see if it stabilizes next week.
