Sleater-Kinney's reunion album No Cities to Love is out today, Jan. 20, through Sub Pop, and though the digital and CD versions of the album come with 10 songs, two exclusive, vinyl-only tracks have surfaced online, which you can check out below, via Stereogum. The first track "Heavy When I Need It" features a rare lead vocal performance from Carrie Brownstein, while the second "The Fog and Filthy Air" puts Corin Tucker back up front. They are excellent songs in which the legendary punk trio leans in to their more psychedelic impulses.

Here is the second vinyl-only track, "The Fog and Filthy Air":

No Cities to Love is Sleater-Kinney's eighth studio album overall, their first since 2005's The Woods. The album was announced in the band's recent career-spanning box set Start Together, which includes a bonus, 7-inch of the album's lead single "Bury Your Friends."

"We didn't want to put out something where people were like, 'Wow, they really f--ked this up!'" Carrie Brownstein told Pitchfork about the pressures behind recording the new album. "We did a ton of work on the songs ... The three of us can get in a room and start making songs that sound like Sleater-Kinney pretty fast, but that's not necessarily good enough. We had to find a new approach to the band."

In support of No Cities to Love, Sleater-Kinney will be setting out on a tour of North America and Europe, which kicks off Feb. 8 in Spokane, Washington, and finishes up with two dates in Seattle May 8 and 9. You can check out the band's complete tour dates here.
